On this link you can listen to a very good podcast with the Craftivist Collective's founder Sarah Corbett. She is talking about what Craftivism is and how she came about to start her blog and the movement she is now leading.

Sarah gives us three tips in the end which goes:

1. Don't preach to people - provoke them!
Put yourself in their shoes and think about how you can communicate something that you want them to think about.

2. Make time to stich on your own and do it slowly, so that you really get time to reflect on what you are writing.

3. Make your craftivism items as small and pretty as possible so that you are not forcing them on people.

What I love with her talk is especially what she says about finding your own passion and your own gifts to make the world a better place. I really resonate with this because too many young adults with a passion for peace and sustainable development are burned out due to too much work and very hard competition to be employd. Sometimes you can feel that you have to be the top of the tops on every field to have a chance to get a job for the good society. That should not be the case. Do what you love and love what you do, set boundaries, protect your integrety, and you will go far!

Create peace!
